Also, I'm wondering if making it *so* hyperlocal is such a great idea; perhaps making it more like uk.fetish.church instead of london.fetish.church would be more inclusive. 🤷

Anyone have suggestions how to make Fetish Church suck less?

Right now it's:

1. Hyperlocal -- I initially thought it'd be cool to create multiple instances, one for each major scene (London, NYC, Berlin, whatever). I can't even get the London scene to sign up for it.

2. Closed reg -- I figured more people would be willing to join if it were exclusive and closed, particularly with a mind for posting fet content. Things have not quite panned out like that.

I'm considering doing away with either or both of these ideas in order to try to make it a larger, more active community, but I worry it'll turn into a large, impersonal, nonconversational site that I'll have to spend a lot of time moderating. Any thoughts, particularly people who've moderated larger instances?

Expired all existing Fetish Church invites because I want to make the community more exclusive.
